Coaching Disclaimer & Terms of Service

Please read this Professional Coaching Disclaimer and Terms of Service carefully before utilizing the coaching services, workshops, journals, or digital content provided by Chanel Blue and Ritualistic Nurtur.

 1. Scope of Service: Coaching vs. Psychotherapy

Coaching services provided by Chanel Blue and/or Ritualistic Nurtur are educational, supportive, behavioral, and goal-oriented in nature.

  • Clinical Distinction: While Chanel Blue is a Clinical Social Worker (CSW) in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, coaching is NOT psychotherapy, counseling, clinical social work, case management, psychiatric evaluation, or medical treatment.  Focus of Service: Coaching focuses strictly on the present and future, identity shifting, accountability, mindset development, nervous system stabilization, and life goals.

  • Explicit Exclusions: Coaching services do not include, and are not a substitute for, the diagnosis or treatment of mental illness, trauma therapy, clinical assessment, psychiatric medication management, or crisis intervention.

  • Right of Referral: Participation in coaching does not establish a psychotherapeutic or clinical relationship. If Coach determines that Client requires clinical mental health services beyond the scope of coaching, Coach reserves the right to recommend a referral to an appropriately licensed healthcare or clinical provider.

 

2. Personal Responsibility & No Guaranteed Results

In compliance with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and consumer protection standards:

  • Outcome Variance: Client understands that coaching outcomes vary by individual and depend entirely upon personal participation, effort, consistency, and external variables. Ritualistic Nurtur and Chanel Blue make no warranties or guarantees regarding specific personal, emotional, behavioral, relational, financial, or business outcomes.

  • Personal Responsibility: Client accepts full and exclusive responsibility for all decisions, actions, and results arising from participation in coaching services. The Coach is not legally, financially, or emotionally responsible for the choices, actions, or outcomes made by the Client during or after the duration of the coaching relationship.

 

3. Emergency & Crisis Limitation Clause

Coaching services are not crisis services.  Client agrees not to use coaching services, emails, or communications for emergency mental health support, suicidal ideation, psychiatric crises, or urgent medical needs.

  • If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, severe emotional distress, or safety concerns, you agree to immediately bypass coaching services and call 911, dial the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988, or proceed to the nearest emergency room.

 

4. Confidentiality & Licensing Mandates

Coach will maintain the commercial confidentiality of all information shared during coaching sessions to the maximum extent permitted by law.

  • Clinical Mandate Exception: Because the Coach is a licensed professional, Client acknowledges that confidentiality is strictly bound and limited by federal and Commonwealth of Kentucky statutory laws. This includes mandatory reporting obligations regarding suspected abuse or neglect of children, vulnerable adults, or imminent threats of harm to self or others, as well as legal obligations under subpoena or court order.

  • Non-Clinical Communications: Client understands that coaching communications are not protected by therapist-client privilege and do not constitute HIPAA-covered medical records.

 

5. Social Media, Workshops, & Digital Content Disclaimer

Information shared through Ritualistic Nurtur social media channels, emails, digital courses, blog posts, YouTube videos, print journals, or in-person workshops is intended for educational, informational, and sensory-exploration purposes only. Accessing or purchasing this content does not establish a clinical, professional, or one-on-one coaching relationship between you and Chanel Blue.

 

6. Payment, Rescheduling, & Cancellation Policy

  • Fees & Refunds: Payment is due in full prior to the rendering of services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Coaching fees, event tickets, and rendered services are non-refundable.

  • Cancellation Windows: Clients must provide a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests. Missed sessions or cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be forfeited without a refund or credit.
