Because these items contain raw, natural ingredients, seasonal variations in color, natural aroma, and physical consistency may occur between batches. These variations are a normal characteristic of the traditional crafting process.
Skin Sensitivity & Safe Handling
- Initial Application Test: As with any product containing concentrated plant materials and essential oils, we recommend performing an initial test on a small, discreet patch of skin (such as the inner forearm) prior to full application. If any skin reactivity, redness, or discomfort occurs, discontinue use immediately.
- Nut and Seed Ingredient Notice: Our traditional mixtures utilize raw plant and nut-derived ingredients (including shea butter and cocoa butter). Please thoroughly review the full ingredient list listed on the individual package prior to handling if you have known sensitivities to specific botanical elements.
- Eye Care: Keep all products away from direct contact with the eyes. In the event of accidental contact, rinse immediately and thoroughly with clean water.
Physical Product Guidelines
- Formulated for traditional body cleansing and mechanical washing. Do not apply to open cuts, broken skin, freshly shaved skin, or highly irritated areas.
- Surfaces Warning: Because our body scrubs contain rich, traditional plant oils, they can make tub, shower, and bathroom floor surfaces exceptionally slippery. Always exercise extreme caution during and immediately after application to prevent slips and falls.
Body Scrub Instructions
Apply a generous amount of scrub to damp skin. Massage in circular motions, focusing on dry areas like elbows, knees, and heels. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat dry with a towel to keep the natural oils on your skin. Use 2–3 times per week for best results.
